John Hurley

John Hurley is a Partner and Director of Development at The HYM Investment Group, LLC. John is responsible for leading HYM’s development teams in the advancement of over twenty (20) million square feet of mixed-use development in Greater Boston, with involvement in projects such as Bulfinch Crossing (Government Center Garage Redevelopment), Suffolk Downs, NorthPoint (now Cambridge Crossing) Parcel 3 Roxbury and Dorchester Avenue in South Boston.

John previously served in various development roles at HYM where he focused on the permitting and development of high-rise, mid-rise and low-rise multifamily projects. Prior to that, he held various positions with Suffolk Construction in Boston.

A native of South Boston, John previously served as a Board Member of the South Boston Community Development Foundation. He was also on the Board of Directors of the Holy Cross Alumni Association, the Outreach Council for Heading Home, and the Real Estate Committee of the United Way Boston. John currently serves on the Athletic Program Board of the St. Agatha School and the Board of Directors for Milton American Baseball. A graduate of the College of the Holy Cross, John also earned his MBA at Boston University. With his wife Mary, he is a parent to four children and lives in Milton, MA.
